Community Partnerships & Allyship
Community Foundations, Philanthropic Organizations, Colleges & Universities, Social Service Organizations, Advocacy Groups, Arts & Culture institutions
Partnership is at the cornerstone of the Boston LGBTQ+ Museum of Art, History & Culture’s programs, public engagement, and community offerings.
Our goal is to inspire and connect with the broader community, reaching beyond arts & culture and LGBTQ+ spaces. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with community partners—foundations, philanthropic organizations, colleges and universities, social service organizations, advocacy groups, and arts & culture institutions—interested in advancing the arts and LGBTQ+ community through innovative, impactful initiatives. Together, we can develop multi-year or multi-platform collaborations that align with your organization’s mission and community engagement goals.
In our Community Partnerships & Allyship portfolio, we work with other organizations who share our values in the city of Boston, across the state of Massachusetts and throughout the New England Region. Each partnership takes different forms, from co-presenting our festival to us co-curating events, programs and curated pride activations. We are the only arts & culture institution in the city of Boston that is solely dedicated to queer artistry. We are committed to continuously showcasing queer art, centering diverse narratives, and celebrating the vibrant history and culture of the community in partnerships with other partners and allies,
Thanks to the generous support of our donors and partners, we amplify these stories, reaching both local, national and global audiences, via virtual channels. We inspire new generations of museumgoers, art lovers, and advocates, fostering a deeper appreciation for LGBTQ+ experiences and contributions
