Rainbow Tales is a collection of live talks, presentations and monologues, presented by the Boston LGBTQ+ Museum featuring people who identify as LGBTQIA+ persons, allies.

  • Rainbow Tales: Boston Queer Arts Festival opening night

    Join us as we celebrate voices of the Boston LGBTQIA+ community to kick off the Boston Queer Arts Festival.

    In this special Rainbow Tales edition, we are featuring talks from leaders in sector of technology, science, public health and environmental sustainability.

    Speakers: Adrianna Boulin, Christopher Schmitt, Robert Goldstein, Ivan Hsiao.

    The evening will feature live stories and talks from the LGBTQIA+ community centered on themes of public health, policy, transgender health, health equity, environmental sustainability and more.

  • Rainbow Tales: Portraits of Pride through Narratives

    We are celebrating the voices and stories of Portraits of Pride.

    In this edition of Rainbow Tales, we are bringing you words and wisdom from cross-sector LGBTQ+ leaders of Greater Boston who are featured in the Portraits of Pride Exhibition.

    Speakers: Governor Maura Healey, Wilnelia Rivera, Reverend Brandon Crowley, Candance Persuasian, Dr. Scott Hadland.

    The evening will feature personal stories and reflection of the honorees in the Portraits of Pride exhibit with themes of faith, policy, community and family.

    Celebrate LGBTQ History Month at the with the official launch of Rainbow Tales- an evening of storytelling and community in the Mugar Omni Theater!

    Rainbow Tales aims to uncover stories that center and celebrate LGBTQIA+ lives and amplify them to the public through various mediums.

    Speakers: Mariangley Solis-Cevera, Jonathan Allen, Beth Chandler, Derrick Young Jr. and Dr. Carl Streed.

    Themes will include diversity, equity, inclusion, gender identity and expression, LGBTQ+ health, wellness, trials and triumphs of the community, shared experience.Join us to be inspired as we celebrate voices of the Boston LGBTQIA+ community.
